We're Goin' Places Baby!

And by goin' places, I mean on a honeymoon. Where exactly are we going? You shall have to wait. I will reveal that in good time.

We knew from the start that we wanted to go on a honeymoon. We didn't want to postpone it. We didn't want to just take a mini-moon. It was very important to us to find a way to swing a honeymoon with our budget.

We knew we wanted some place warm, beachy and where the drinks are a-flowin'. We decided all-inclusive would be our best bet. It's all fine and dandy that we were able to make those decisions, but where do we go from there?

Neither one of us has traveled much in the Caribbean or Mexico so we had no clue. I did a lot of searching on sites like CheapCaribbean.com, but soon realized I had no idea what a good all-inclusive resort was supposed to have and which resorts were not up to par. Talk about being overwhelmed.

Originally my mister was going to be in charge of the honeymoon decision. However, we quickly realized that we'd need to work on this decision together so we decided to sit down on a Sunday afternoon and figure it out. Of course, we still didn't know what we were looking for.

We started by looking at a few suggestions that I received from the lovely ladies in the Weddingbee hive. Once we checked out the various resorts' websites, we decided it would be smart to look them up on TripAdvisor as well. Thank god for TripAdvisor. I'm pretty sure it saved us from the possibility of making a bad decision. Seriously, if you're searching for a honeymoon locale, make sure you use TripAdvisor.
