Workin' It Revisited

Some of you might remember my post original post Workin' It. Basically I feel the need to be light enough for my mister to carry me over the threshold. It is a must. Plus, I mean, if I look hot in my white dress, you know, that's a plus too. Haha, just kidding.

So I guess since that post I've only sorta been workin' it to get in shape for my wedding. However, I came the the realization that I really need to step it up. I mean, we passed the 9-month mark two days ago! Eeek!!

I've made myself a few promises that I intend to uphold until I get to my wedding day.

1. I am trying to drink less Dr Pepper. I got into the habit of drinking a 20oz. almost everyday. I'm trying to cut it down to 1 or 2 a week. Boo :(

2. Workout 5-6 days a week. I am taking Zumba classes at the local YMCA. It's a basically Latin aerobics.

It's sooooo much fun!And I just bought Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease DVD set.

Can I say, super fun. (And a bonus, I'm learning some moves that could be useful at some point ;) ) I'm keeping track on my wedding calendar.

So I'd say I'm on my way. What are you girls doing to transform for the big day? Any tips to keep me on track?


  1. I am also taking a Zumba class...though my work schedule only allows me to take it on the weekend :( It's lots of fun and I also started taking a Body Combat class which is intense too!! I love them both though! during the week I usually do biking or running which is starting to make a difference.

  2. have you heard of the Shred? It's supposed to work wonders. I may have to try that eventually too!
